Most introductions leave terms undefined and readers fill the gap with whatever the internet says. This list gives every term on the site a pinyin reading, a plain English gloss and the page that computes it, so the definition and the evidence live in the same place.

Is this a translation dictionary?
No. It is an index of the terms this site computes. Each entry links to the page where the term is derived, so you can check the definition against the arithmetic.
Why is a term listed with a pinyin and not just characters?
Because the site is written in English first. A reader who cannot read Chinese still needs to be able to say the term, and to search for it.
Some terms have more than one school. Which is given here?
Where a school choice exists the site shows both and states the difference, for example two colour systems for date selection and two element schools for names. The glossary does not quietly pick one.
Where do I start reading after this page?
On the learning path page, which puts these terms in the order they depend on each other.
